United Hardware is proud to announce that it has once again been recognised at the Health and Safety Excellence Awards, taking home the Excellence in Warehousing Award for 2026.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for the organisation, representing a second consecutive win in this category and a third Health and Safety Excellence Award for Warehousing overall.
The award recognises United Hardware’s continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across its warehouse operations. This is particularly noteworthy during a period of sustained business growth and increased operational activity.
This success is a testament to the dedication of the warehouse management team, Alan Bracken, Danny McGurran, Martin Long and Shane O’Dwyer, alongside the wider warehouse team, whose daily efforts ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Building on previous successes, including multiple awards in 2025 , this latest recognition highlights United Hardware’s ongoing investment in safety processes, training and culture. Health and safety remains a core pillar of the organisation’s operations and long term strategy.
Commenting on the achievement, CEO Paul said:
‘Winning this award for the second year in a row is a fantastic reflection of the standards our teams set every day. As we continue to grow, maintaining a strong safety culture across the business remains a top priority. This recognition belongs to everyone who plays their part in keeping our workplace safe.’
