United Hardware Celebrates Guaranteed Irish Month and Homevalue’s Prestigious Win

As proud members of Guaranteed Irish, United Hardware and our retail brand, Homevalue, were delighted to take part in Guaranteed Irish Month this March, an initiative that celebrates the significant contributions of Irish businesses to employment, community development, and local supply chains.

Throughout the month, Guaranteed Irish continued to drive awareness around the positive impact of choosing Irish businesses. This year’s theme, ‘The Guarantee of Guaranteed Irish,’ highlighted how local enterprises create meaningful employment and foster economic resilience in communities across Ireland.

A highlight of Guaranteed Irish Month was Homevalue’s incredible achievement at the Guaranteed Irish Awards. We were honoured to receive the prestigious 50-50-50 prize, recognising our commitment to collaboration and excellence. This award grants Homevalue a €50,000 communications campaign across multiple platforms, including national radio, digital media, and press coverage. It is a fantastic opportunity to further share our story and the values that drive our business. Stay tuned for more details as we dive deeper into this exciting win!

During the month of March the ‘Guarantee of Guaranteed Irish’ campaign was activated through a variety of channels to reach and engage consumers, reminding them of the power of supporting local businesses.

  • In-Store Advertising: Promotional messages played across tannoy systems in Homevalue stores, reinforcing the Guaranteed Irish message.
  • Retail Promotions: Posters and point-of-sale materials displayed in Homevalue stores to educate customers on the importance of buying Irish.
  • Digital & Social Media: Engaging content highlighting the values that set Guaranteed Irish businesses apart.
